Cade Niehaus was hired as the full-time assistant coach for the Cobbers in the summer of 2022.
Niehaus came to Concordia after serving as the graduate assistant at Division II MSU Moorhead in 2021-22. Before joining the staff of the Dragons, Niehaus was the head student manager for Division I Northern Iowa from 2019-21. During his time with the Panthers he assisted with video analysis, scouting and game day preparation.
Niehaus graduated from Northern Iowa in 2021 with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management.
Niehaus is originally from Fremont, Neb. where he was a member of the Fremont HS boys’ basketball and golf teams.
Jackson Lyngaas graduated from Concordia College in 2018. During his time as a student at Concordia, he was hired to be the freshman boys basketball coach at Shanley High School in Fargo, N.D. Following two years as the freshman boys basketball coach at Shanley, Coach Lyngaas joined Tyler Bormann’s staff at Moorhead High School in 2017 and was on the staff for three seasons from 2017-20.
During his time as Moorhead HS, Lyngaas was involved with all facets of the program as an assistant coach for the JV and Varsity levels.
Lyngaas is originally from Detroit Lakes, Minn and played basketball, football and baseball at Detroit Lakes High School. He currently resides in Moorhead and is a 3rd-grade teacher in the Hawley, Minn. school district.
